What is the process of the consumer change?
The process of the consumer change includes changing the consumer’s name in the property’s water account from the outgoing tenant to that of the ingoing tenant (in the case of renting and/ or selling) for the purpose of charging the new tenant for Mei Avivim’s water bill. The holder of the property must pay for water starting from the date of property entry and check the water meter that same day.
Pay attention! Failure to provide notification of property change will result in continued billing of the “outgoing” holder of the water bill. Therefore, anyone leaving or entering a property must notify Mei Avivim.
Application Request to Change Holders
Submit the application via Change of Consumer Application Form, with the required documents as needed.
The request can also be sent via fax/ post/ e-mail. In these cases, the specific forms located at the bottom of this page must be downloaded. At the end of the process, you will receive a response via SMS/ e-mail/ post.
|Exiting Property Tenant
In the case that the tenant unilaterally decides to leave the property and in the absence of an occupying tenant, the owner will register as a consumer.
